How ProPop collects, uses, and protects information when you use our app and services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide when you create an account, complete your profile, upload content, participate in campaigns, communicate with users, or contact support. This may include name, email address, phone number, address, profile details, user-generated content, and limited payment-related information handled by third-party processors.

We may also collect device information, usage data, log data, and, with your permission, location information to provide app functionality, fraud prevention, security, and account management.

2. Permissions We Use

The app requests permissions that are necessary for core functionality, including notifications, approximate or precise location, camera, photos, videos, and account-related verification flows. Photo, video, and camera access are used only when you choose to upload or capture content and are not collected in the background.

  • Notifications are used for account, security, and service updates.
  • Location may be used for region-specific features and service availability.
  • Camera, photo, and video access are used for profile and user-generated content.
  • OTP verification may use consent-based SMS flows or manual entry.

3. YouTube and Google API Data

When you connect your YouTube account, ProPop may access limited read-only YouTube channel and audience analytics data to support creator verification, authenticity scoring, and audience intelligence features. ProPop does not store your Google credentials, does not sell this data, and uses it only for the features described here.

ProPop’s use of data received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

4. Instagram Business API Data

When you connect your Instagram account, ProPop may access limited read-only data such as Instagram username and follower count to support influencer verification and profile features. We do not store Facebook or Meta credentials, and this data is not sold or shared with third parties.

5. How We Use Information

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the app and services.
  • Create, manage, and secure user accounts.
  • Provide influencer discovery, campaigns, promotions, chat, orders, and marketplace functionality.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with service providers who support hosting, payments, analytics, security, customer support, and similar services, or when required by law. When legally required, we disclose only the minimum data necessary.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the app and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. You may request deletion through the account deletion process described on the Account Deletion page.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and secure communication channels. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Children’s Privacy

The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will take steps to delete the information.
